When we had the bathrooms remodeled I asked for this outlet near the tub so I could plug the Google Speaker in over there instead of taking up the outlet over the counter. It's worked out great but the cord was still a nuisance. The speaker's wall wart plug covered up the USB charging ports on the fancy outlet I bought and looked ugly behind the speaker.
So I bought an extension cord with a flat plug, shortened it myself, and put the wires in a can. Deeper base AND cleaned up look!
Next I'll have to cut and paint some PVC pipe as the final touch...
