I finished a wood burning project on a tray this week. I picked the tray up from Hobby Lobby or Dollar General, very light thin wood. I've been practicing doodles from YouTube to prepare for this. I drew the flower shape on the tray in pencil, then used different tips on my wood burner to make the center and fill in the dark areas. After consulting with an artist I left it unstained to keep toxic chemicals away from it. I'm hoping to give it to someone special soon. Fun!
