I put in a request for reassignment to the Safety Assurance office at the Service Cetner (aka Regional office) earlier this year. They quickly agreed to the reassignment, and after all the red tape I've finally accepted the offer. It's a lower-grade position than the one I'm currently in, but I'm hoping to learn more about the changes coming down the pipe and make new contacts in my quest to "develop my career". It's interesting, though - some people think I'm being foolish, and some people think I'm just lucky. I'm looking at this as a benefit, even though I hate to leave Atlanta Center after being assigned there for over 19 years. It will be interesting to see what God has in store for me in my new position!

Accepted new position at Service Center
