I got the news late last week that could Carlos
Ray, a controller I had known, passed away. He was an older guy that had been around a long time. He taught me a lot as I was coming up as a controller in Area 3, and helped me a lot after I checked out. When he retired he went out and got his Pilot's license so he could see the other side of whet he had done for so long, and from what I was told he loved flying as much as he loved being a controller. RIP, Carlos!
